Position Overview
Ultimate Staffing is actively seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Engineer to join their client's team in Newark, California. This position involves ensuring that products meet customer requirements as established in the drawings and acceptance and rejection criteria. The Quality Engineer will play a crucial role in maintaining quality standards across different buildings within the division.
Responsibilities
- Provide training on Q&EMS, SFI, NICS, DOT.
- Address customer complaints promptly, coordinating containment actions and implementing corrective/preventive actions.
- Follow up on 8DNCRs, 8DComplaints, 8DSCARs, and compile evidence for corrective/preventive actions.
- Perform FMEA and Control Plan for operational processes.
- Consolidate quality and environmental KPIs results.
- Conduct customized FAIs or PPAPs.
- Ensure product quality in new products by proposing measures to control or improve final products to meet established quality standards.
- Control measuring devices, including calibrations and annual verification of measuring tapes.
- Document RISE packaging tests in NICS.
- Analyze weekly Product Discrepancies reports and present results to the operations team to enhance performance.
- Adhere to ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 Policies and Procedures.
- Other duties as needed.
Qualifications
Education
- University Degree (B.S. in Systems Engineering preferred or equivalent experience).
Experience
- 2 years in quality assurance.
Languages
- Fluent in English, both written and verbal.
- Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.

Benefits
The position offers a competitive salary ranging from $70,000 to $80,000 per year, along with a comprehensive benefits package.
